Had Vladimir Zelensky relied on those tips from Donald Trump’s ‘The Art of the Deal’, the now historic spat in the Oval Office may have resulted in something more amicable. But the Ukrainian leader chose a different tactic, one also used by Trump – never admitting to mistakes and repeating the same thing over and over again. Where does this leave the two presidents and their countries? We ask Dmitry Suslov, the deputy director of the Center for Comprehensive European and International Studies at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow.
